Working title

1. Working title is an independent production company. This means they have a low budget and don't own any other subsidiary companies.

2.  Perfect world pictures to make the darkest hour this was done due to them wanting to hear the money for the film production.  studio canal supported them in creating 'Shaun of the dead'. Warner brothers helped them in we are your friends.

3.  Darkest Hour 2018 (Box office 150.2 million), Theory of everything 2015 (Box office 123.7million), About time 2013 (Box office 87.1 million) Baby driver 2017 (Box office 226.9),  Everest 2015 (Box office 203.4 million)

4. The baby driver was biggest box office success over this period of time. 'The program' was the least successful for working title due to how small the box office income was only being 3.3 million and their biggest one was a baby driver 226.9 million in the box office.

Universal

Universal Pictures is an American film studio owned by Comcast through the Universal Filmed Entertainment Group division of its wholly owned subsidiary NBCUniversal. This showing their cross-media ownership as they have lots of different broadcasting channels. universal is owned by Comcast, universal owns many different theme parks around the globe as well as owning a large music company which produces various music. they will also work with various distributors who they will need to sell their merchandise this would show Universals horizontal integration as they have lots of different companies in different markets. Universal make lots of films every year. They made lots of popular films such as:- Jurassic World- opened in North America with a monstrously good $150 million. Universal Pictures and Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment, the studio and production company behind the film, began its overseas rollout earlier in June, where the tentpole has already earned $561 million. Though that start trails “Jurassic World’s” record-breaking debut.- Ted 2-Principal photography began in Massachusetts in July 2014. Ted 2 was released on June 26, 2015, by Universal Pictures. The film grossed over $216 million and received mixed reviews from critics. This was done with a budget of 68 million dollars. -Despicable Me 3-The film received mixed reviews from critics and grossed over $1 billion worldwide, making it the fourth highest-grossing film of 2017, the fifth highest-grossing animated film of all time and the 29th highest-grossing film of all time. It is Illumination's second film to gross over $1 billion, after Minions in 2015, becoming the first ever animated franchise to do so.- Mamma Mia- The film has been a box office success, grossing over $393 million worldwide and received generally positive reviews, with critics praising the performances.

 Jurassic World, grossing $652,270,625.- Jurassic World: the Fallen Kingdom, grossing $416, 769, 345.- The Secret Life of Pets, grossing $368, 384, 330.- Despicable Me 2, grossing $368, 061, 265.- Furious 7, grossing $353, 007, 020.  Universal Pictures have suffered little failures at the box office, having an average of $48, 573, 123 gross profit over the 706 listed films. This could be due to the budget that Universal Studios have to make their films and the scale of production. The scale of Universal Studios has also allowed them to have an influential impact on the market, helping in the success of their films. Their understanding of how to appeal to audiences is shown through the continuations of films such as Jurassic World and the brands they possess such as Despicable Me have helped them in their success.



Advantages:
- They would have a higher budget
- More creative ideas
- Likely to make more revenue if successful
- Spread to a wider audience: more brand awareness for working title
- Easer to get actors as universal is a well-established company.
- Universal has a lot of disruption companies around the world so they have a wider reach.

Disadvantages:
- Sheared revenue and profits
- Risk of miscommunication
- They have would have a creative disagreement
- They have to shear the credit to the other company.
- Universal have political ideas making it have subtle messages putting audience.
