1. How a product or brand reaches an audience (web, television, cinema)
2. Its marketing and promotion
New Netflix film (22 July) will be distributed through online format and in the cinema to give the film more respect when they are watching it.
My media consumption
1. Played PS4 (For honour) Yes I did buy the product. Online PlayStation store. No I do not. Play station and TV
2. Social media Snapchat (phone), no the app is free. No. Phone
3. Netflix (operation finale..) it comes with the Netflix subscription. No.TV
4. Spotify (joji - slow dancing in the dark) It comes with the subscription. No. Phone + speaker (sonos)
5. YouTube (pyrocynical) No the app is free. No. Phone+ headphones.
The way it has changed is that it’s now faster for people are able to get their products a lot easier. It would also be cheaper for people to access it.
Technological convergence allows audiences to access media content from multiple platforms on one devices. It involves the coming together of information and communication technologies to create new ways of producing and distributing products and services to media audiences.
A black box is a device that supplies us with all our informational and media requirements
Web 1.0 was originally just broadcasting messages (the media to the consumers) no one els put in information.
Web 2.0 is the interactive internet not just with a media broadcast but with thousands of other people.
New episode of black mirror will have an interactive episode, so viewers can pick what they want to do in the episode.
Web 2.0 site allows users to interact and collaborate with each other in a social media dialogue as creators (prosumers) of user – generated content.
2.0 would help with people that you would never interact with or meet as they live in America or Japan.
3.0 have 2 main parts artificial intelligence and internet of things

ReplyDeleteA solid level of detail in the notes regarding the various stages of web 2.0/3.0. One area for improvement in your notes - makes sure when you are writing are a new term that you give a specific example. You do this sometimes, but not all the time - e,g. black boxes, web 1.0 is lacking examples. This will help your recall significantly when preparing for the exam.
